Our Mission is to Unite and Equip People to Preserve, Protect and Defend the U. S. Constitution We are dedicated to the advancement of the principles of freedom, being self government, limited government, free market economy, and the unalienable rights of mankind. To support, or establish other like-minded organizations in every county in every state of our nation. To establish training and education centers for grass roots activism, political candidate preparation and voter initiatives. To organize and promote peaceful activism directed toward government and private industry wherein they seek to breach constitutional boundaries and usurp our natural rights. We value Life, Liberty and the ownership and use of Private Property as the greatest among several “Unalienable Rights” we are born with. They reside within us and to the extent that anyone tries to remove them is the extent to which man will either be demoralized into apathy or be provoked to vigorously defend those natural rights. This reality is reason enough to protect these rights as they are. We value the clear limitations set forth in the U, S. Constitution in Article 1 Section 8 as the means to a just and limited government. We value the first ten amendments of the Bill of Rights as necessary to our liberty and they are as valuable to us as life itself. They are to be protected by Government and The People. What
We Believe Core Principles We believe our core
principles concur with many other patriotic organizations, which shows
that even though all started separately we were provoked to action by
the same core philosophy of government. At the center is freedom and we
all agree that when government grows freedom shrinks. Government has
grown massively in the last year alone and we have watched our freedom
disappear just the same. Thus, in order for freedom to flourish
government must shrink. We believe that if this doesn’t happen there
is no chance for man to stay free, as those who wield power will only
acquire more to themselves until they enslave the populace. This is
proven throughout history and is confirmed in the writings of our
Founders. We believe that we are
endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights and among these
are Life, Liberty and Private property witch is foundational to the
pursuit of happiness to all mankind. Without these there can be no
freedom to decide any issue by public discourse because when one central
authority wields all power to control all life, liberty and private
property it is they who will also decide every issue for you. The U.S. constitution and many state constitutions clearly identify limitations on government so that we would never lose these freedoms because of government power over people. As all of us know the limitations set forth in the U.S. and many state constitutions have been breeched. Thus our core philosophy is to return these governments to constitutional limitations Grassroots Activism The current trend of
activism in the U. S. is the result of a genuine discontent with
intrusive government at all levels of our society. We believe that grass roots
activism is kept alive by the unconstitutional activity of legislators
and not agitation from other sources. Americans are genuinely disgusted
with the actions of government and are expressing this through open
protest, which is our right as guaranteed in our first amendment. We believe in peaceful
activism, which may result in open protest. We believe that we should
engage opposition to our cause in a respectful manner when speaking.
We believe that government
should never charge for permission to protest, as this becomes a means
for corruption and control of people. We believe it is the
responsibility of government to provide a secure environment for our
right to petition for a redress of grievances. Reduction
in the government agencies We believe that there are just and constitutional government agencies. We believe that bureaucrats have ballooned the size of government through the establishment of agencies and way beyond the limitations set forth in Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. We believe that bureaucrats have expanded government power over the people by creating entitlements. These entitlements are handouts of tax dollars in the name of compassion. We believe there is a place for compassion outside of government control or responsibility. We believe this method of government involvement has and can only lead to money being used as a tool to control people and guarantee political offices. We believe that government must shrink. This means that some agencies need to be eliminated, some need to be shrunk and many should be handed over to the states. We
believe “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force;
like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a
moment should it be left to irresponsible action.” Founder of our
nation and President, George Washington. Government
at all levels has become irresponsible, arrogant and like a fearful
master, a force over our lives rather than a servant of the people. We
have become afraid of government. “When the people fear their
government there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there
is liberty” Founder of our nation and President, Thomas Jefferson. Laws,
rules and regulations are made and enforced to control what we do and
what we say. We are being choked out of any use of one the most basic
and fundamental rights, that of the ownership and use of private
property. The
federal, state and local governments are overstepping their
constitutional boundaries by assuming authority they do not have. The
federal government today no longer operates within the limitations set
upon them by Article 1, Section 8 of our U.S. Constitution. It
is the natural progression of government is to increase its size, reach
and power over people. They do this through, Legislation; These days legislation is rarely constitutional
and is now a means to an unconstitutional end by those who wish to use
it to socially engineer society into their utopian vision of a Marxist
society. Creation of non-government entities, (agencies,
departments, panels, boards and czars). These “entities” becomes a tool that is used
by government to rule without the use of legislation. Those who run
these agencies are once removed from the direct control of the people,
thus government bypasses our representative process so that they may
dictate the terms of Life, Liberty and Private Property. Coercion using monies collected from the states or
people. Taxes are collected and then used as a tool to
blackmail states into conforming to the wishes of the central
government. We
believe we should work with the Parties and help to advance real reform
within the Party. We
believe our position must remain non-partisan so that we are able to be
free to choose whom we will work with and to be free of Party
persuasion. We
believe that incumbents should be judged on their record to determine
whether or not they should be removed from office. We
believe we must work as an independent organization. Party faithful may
join our ranks and some of us may join the ranks of the party faithful
but to remain non-partisan and separate requires that all leadership in
our organization remain uninvolved with the “Party”. We
believe the National Republican Party has abandoned its own platform of
limited government for a more liberal philosophy of government. We
believe that many state parties also follow the national platform and
are abandoning that platform for a more liberal philosophy of
government. We
believe that the majority of conservative voters do not trust the
Republican Party. We
believe the best way for the Republican Party to regain the trust of
conservative America is to stop backing moderate, liberal and leftist
politicians. We
believe a third party is NOT an option. We
believe there will be more “split” votes as long as the Republican
Party continues to promote moderate, liberal and leftist politicians
while the current grass roots movement will continue to promote virtuous
and principled politicians. We
believe this trend of split votes will continue until the Parties
realize that they are the problem and it is they who must reconcile real
conservatism with their own policies. We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee that government
could not regulate speech. We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee freedom of the
press to say and write what they want. We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee that individuals
might worship whomever they please We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee that government
would not establish a religion in which we were required to follow. We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee our right to
assemble publicly. We
believe the first amendment was written to guarantee that we could
petition the government for a redress of grievances. We
believe the second amendment guarantees the right to own a firearm. We
believe the second amendment guarantees the right to use that firearm
for self-preservation. We
believe U.S., State, and local governments, of all types, are and have
been poor stewards of the funds they have collected from American
Taxpayers by overstepping their Constitutional boundaries in collecting
funds for projects and in ways not permitted them by the U.S.
Constitution and then allocating those funds in manners also not
permitted them by the U.S. Constitution. We
believe taxes are a just way to promote benefit for the common good,
that being to operate government and provide common resources. We
believe the tax burden on American citizens is excessively high and has
become a means for government to control behavior of the states and the
people. We
believe the tax collected in this nation is intentionally transferred to
other citizens so that politicians can create more dependents thus
perpetuating their place in office and their power. This has served to
empower politicians to the point where they no longer fear the people.
Their only aim is to promise the most provision to the most people. The
end result is that the cities, (population centers) vote for whomever
promises the most to the most and thus control who wins the elections. We
believe many taxes are intentionally applied and collected through
indirect means and the purpose of this is to hide the real tax burden.
This is in effect deception of the American citizens. We
believe the IRS is abusive and has become a means to enslave citizens
through heavy fines and penalties. This agency is largely unaccountable,
overly burdensome in regulation and severely mismanaged. We
believe a Flat Tax or a Fair Tax system is the only way to restrain the
IRS and the government and to collect taxes fairly. Sovereignty
of the Grassroots Organizations We believe that all grass
roots organizations are and should be sovereign entities. We define these entities as
autonomous and unique in every respect and that autonomy is defined by
the fact that the group has its own leadership. We believe the core
components that define this autonomy are their mission and purpose,
their email database and their geographical location. We encourage leaders
to help one another without the expectation of any return. We believe it is important
for those who are strong to share resources to others who are weak. We believe that none of
what is said here precludes the desire of one organization to become
part of another or to disband completely. If an organization chooses to
disband they should, for the sake of member patriots should offer their
database to another patriotic organization so that the membership can be
sustained for the greater cause. We believe that geographic
location is not a reason to exercise ownership of a given area but we
believe that it does serve to define where an organization operates. We believe that all groups
sharing the same philosophy outlined in our core principles should be
closely affiliated in common cause so that they may act as one.. We believe that the
strength of our revolution must increase through alliances, common tools
and methods that are focused in one direction. This is the strength of
Organizing For America and we have the capacity to organize better than
they if we turn our eyes on the same target. We believe their
should be a law that makes congress subject to the same laws as they
impose upon us therefore we agree and if necessary we will support an
amendment to the constitution to guarantee it.
It should read as follows Congress shall make no law
that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply
equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no
law that applies to We believe that a primary
responsibility for our next and subsequent congresses is to reduce and
eliminate the many institutions that make the Federal government so
large and powerful. It is the nature of government to increase in size
and power. The only way to stop the aggression and preserve our liberty
for many years to come is to reduce the size of government thus the
amount of power they have. The new litmus test of
those we will support will be whether or not they view government as too
large and invasive. A lesser form of the current monstrosity will not
do. We believe we must work
with many others to form a coalition that will wield enough voter power
to demand these changes. We
believe that all conservative groups should be promoting voluntary
efforts to attend to their local politics with voter drives, canvassing,
becoming precinct leaders and poll watchers. This also includes raising
and giving funds to the cause. |
